Mayweather vs. Ortiz: Mayweather will give what the fans want!

Many people are craving to watch the upcoming fight between Mayweather vs Ortiz this coming September 17, 2011 at the MGM Grand, Staples Center. Most of them want to see a good fight from Floyd as he is known to be the best match up with the pound for pound Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. Can he able to satisfy the fans? Can the orthodox style of Mayweather knock down his opponent Victor?

Mayweather will really give his best in the upcoming fight as he will not want to stain his undefeated record. Usually, a fighter like Floyd will give his very best to make the fight more interesting and epic. He will make the fans pleased as he is expected to win the fight. If this is the expectation of many people, what would be the reaction of Ortiz? Will he lose confidence on the fight or will it be the reason for him to prove to the world that he can beat “Money”?

If Victor will not give his best in the upcoming fight, he will not be able to stand a chance against Floyd. The best thing for him to do is to train hard to prove it to the boxing fans that he can beat Mayweather. If he can really beat Floyd, there is a possibility that he can also have a chance to beat down “Pacman”. Whatever may happen on the event “Star Power”, I know it will be something worth watching. A lot of good fighters will also be competing in the event like Jesus Vargas vs. Joselito Lopez, Erik Morales vs. Pablo Cesa Cano and many more.
Are you now energized to watch the Mayweather vs. Ortiz Live fight? The fight is near, so don’t forget to watch it online as it will make you entertained and be thrilled.

Good Things About Mosley from Roach, Sale Strategy or Legit?

Watch Pacquiao vs Mosley Fight - After I have watched the first episode of Fight Camp 360, which tackles the reality television series-documentary of the moment-by-moment fight between Manny Pacquiao and Sugar Shane Mosley, what I find peculiar is the fact that Sugar Shane Mosley looks a little old and weary; like he looks a bit painfully slow. Once more, Pacquiao’s management struck golf and hit rock bottom at finding someone who isn’t his equal, who isn’t at his best.

Just look at how Mosley changed over time, perhaps the tangible and imminent result of him worn out being optimistic over Manny Pacquiao. When you try to examine Mosley’s poor performance in his last two fights, I really thing he does not have an inkling of a chance to win over the people’s champ. So true! Fact is, he’s becoming too slow and old for the world of boxing, and just too timid to win. And as far as the first episode, it was rather a bit boring with an array of videos of Pacquiao and Mosley being shuffled around place to place, Pacquiao beaming for picture-perfect moments and with a lot of old fight clips combined.

In Mosley’s case, the video clips indicating the fight are quite obsolete, dating back to ages ago, with his fights with the prime De La Hoya in no way, 2000 and 2003. maybe if they are in cahoots trying to sell this fight, well, they’d do everything for it to hit the market, by all means, because if they continue to show how bad Mosley performed in his last two fights against Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Sergio Mora, it would work like a PPV resistant. Another thing that I think really pisses off most fans is the fact that both Freddie Roach and Bob Arum are both like larks talking about how you can’t count Mosley off the hook because through it all, he’s just an exceptional fighter, by all means. Roach is one person who scarcely says good things about Pacquiao’s opponents, and the mere fact that he’s saying good things about hi, is one way to suggest that he’s really helping in selling out the fight to the public who already has raised eyebrows.

The episode was aired only on CBS so a lot of boxing fans can watch it. But the thing is, would these people be interested enough o pay in order to watch the fight? Maybe, maybe not. But if a good performance of boxers is what they have, well then count me in! Let us watch also the upcoming Pacquiao vs Mosley Fight Camp 360 Episode 2 due on April 23, 2011.

P4P King Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley Match up in Las Vegas on May 7, 2011.

Now the fight of Pound for Pound king has been finally signed and prepared. When Bob Arum, promoter of the Top Rank Promotion signed the contract between people’s champion Manny Pacquiao and Sugar Shane Mosley for the Welterweight division having the limit of 147 lbs on May 7, 2011 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada. According to Bob Arum, Mosley has a long experience in boxing career. He added that it is official, that Manny Pacquiao is set to date and the biggest Pay day ever when he battle Sugar Shane Mosley. Coach Freddie Roach says that this fight would not be easy for Pacquiao. Top rank Promoter Bob Arum says that Sugar Shane Mosley has agreed to the terms of the fight. Arum has not revealed the terms of the deal, he says that this fight is the biggest pay out for Manny Pacquiao, Pacquiao earn 20 million dollars after the fight with Antonio Margarito. Mosley a former 3 division champion has the professional record of 46 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw.

He did beat Pacquiao’s last opponent Antonio Margarito with technical knockout in January 2009. This year, Mosley lost with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and a draw with Sergio Mora. Like Pacquiao, he continues his 35 wins streak against Mc Clottey and Antonio Margarito.

Unlike Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mosley showed his support for Many Pacquiao’s political ambition, but other feels that Many Pacquiao,s future as a congressman is tougher than any fight despite in the ring. Floyd Mayweather and Sugar Shane Mosley, 2 of the world’s best fighters in boxing history are just some of the best paired with the p4p king. Although Mayweather is not facing many Pacquiao, boxing fans are still hoping to see a Pacquiao Mayweather fight in the future.

For now, let us all wait and watch Pacquiao vs Mosley Fight happening very soon. Las Vegas will once more bring us another spectacular fight that tickets had been already sold out.

Pacquiao to fight for a final time in November

World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao will fight for a final time in November against either Floyd Mayweather Jr., the winner of the Yuri Foreman vs. Miguel Cotto fight or against Antonio Margarito. The 31-year-old Pacquiao has received permission from his mother to fight one more time and then retire and then focus on his political career as a congressman in the Philippines. Pacquiao said to ABS-CBN “So many fans want me to fight Mayweather, so I asked my mother to allow me to fight one more time, and she said ‘Ok.’ My mother agreed.”

Unfortunately, Mayweather isn’t apparently all that interested in fighting Pacquiao now after having made a huge bundle of money in his last fight against Shane Mosley on May 1st. Mayweather, 33, made more than $40 million in that fight, which rang up an impressive 1.4 million pay-per-view buys – double the amount of Pacquiao’s last fight against Joshua Clottey on March 13th. While Pacquiao, his promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank and trainer Freddie Roach now really want the Mayweather bout to happen, Mayweather isn’t showing much interest. Part of the problem is that there haven’t been any positive signs that Pacquiao will agree to take the Olympic style random blood tests that Mayweather wants.

Pacquiao wants limited blood testing, which doesn’t fall into the category of random testing that Mayweather wants. Last time they negotiated, Pacquiao and his team asked for the testing to be stopped at 24 days before the fight. Mayweather wanted 14 days. At this point, Pacquiao and his team walked away and settled for Top Rank fighter Clottey, which drew only 700,000 PPV buys at a half filled Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas. In hindsight, it was probably a bad decision on Pacquiao’s team to not negotiate further with Mayweather to make the fight happen at that moment, because now Mayweather’s position appears to be a lot stronger because of his better numbers in the Mosley fight.

Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz says "If Mayweather wants to fight Manny, then no problem, provided he doesn’t try to bully us into terms and conditions." That sounds well and good, but the problem is the power seems to have been shifted to Mayweather’s court with his better win and better numbers against Mosley. Pacquiao, if he really wants to fight Mayweather before retiring, will likely have to give him what he wants in terms of the blood testing or else Pacquiao will have to settle for fighting one of his fellow Top Rank fighters Margarito, Cotto or Foreman in his last fight. If I was to guess what will happen, I’d say Pacquiao ends up not giving in on the blood testing and ends his career against one of those fighters rather than Mayweather or someone like Andre Berto.

Pacquiao could be facing Margarito in September or November

World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 KO’s) could be facing Antonio Margarito (37-6, 27 KO’s) in either September or November depending on how Pacquiao does in his congressional election next month. Either way, it looks as if Top Rank will be putting Pacquiao next. According to news from the Record, Pacquiao could face Margarito in November if he wins the political election in a fight that would take place in the United States in the Cowboys Stadium or possibly Mexico City.

If Pacquiao loses the election, he’ll fight in the U.S. It will depend on Margarito being able to get his boxing license back, though, because he won’t be able to fight in the U.S until he does.

The number #1 choice for Pacquiao to fight next, obviously, is the winner of the Shane Mosley vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight that takes place next month on May 1st. However, Pacquiao will have to wait for awhile to fight Mosley if he emerges as the winner because there’s a rematch clause in his contract with Mayweather, so he won’t be free to immediately fight Pacquiao.

Mayweather is the fight that Pacquiao and the rest of the world really want. It will be interesting to see if Mayweather has a change of mind about the random drug testing that he’s been asking for. He could surprise some people by dropping this requests altogether if he realizes that this is the only chance he has to fight Pacquiao.

But then again, there’s perhaps an even better chance that he’ll stick to his wishes for the drug testing to take place before he’ll fight Pacquiao. In that case, we’ll likely see Pacquiao move on to fight Margarito. That option isn’t an appealing one because few people in the United States want to see Pacquiao-Margarito right now. Margarito has a strong Mexican fan base, but he’s not particularly popular outside of that and he is coming off a loss in his last fight.

It seems like a fight that is two years late in being made. It would have been good back in 2008 after Margarito beat Miguel Cotto by an 11th round stoppage, but it’s not nearly as interesting now that Margarito has been beaten by Mosley in a 9th round TKO defeat last year in January and especially because of the incident with Margarito’s hand wraps having an illegal substance found inside of the wraps.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Pacquiao fight Margarito after all this stuff dies down and Margarito has six or seven fights under his belt against welterweight contenders, but not now. It seems like a poorly thought out idea. Like I said, this fight should have taken place a long time ago, but having it fought now seems very odd. I just don’t see the appeal in this fight.
